| Specialists can craft Weapons l1-l55, Armors l1-l55 and ammo.
The success rate is never better than 50%. and often much much worse.
Weapons The only weapons really worth crafting are the l40, l45, l50 and l55 tiers. Each weapon recipe uses: l40: Siar Bilidend l45: Gli l50: Beam l55: Beam
Shields l41-: Siar Bilidend l43, l45: Gli l47+: Beam
(Metals are the 4 different thingies you get after processing the ore) Staffs: Blue metals Guns: Red metals Shields: Yellow metals Bows: Green metals ThrowKnifes: Green metals Knifes(1h): Black metals Swords(2h): Black metals Axes: Black metals Maces: Black metals Spears: Black metals
So: a l40 Spear requires: Siar Bilidend + Black metals a l45 Shield requires: Gli + Yellow metals a l50 Staff requires: Beam + Blue metals
Best way to make anything is just to bring me a ton of mats.
Chances of success are up to 1 in 2 attempts. Chances of a purple mod are 1 in 10 successes. Chances of a specific purple mod are 1 in 100 successes. Chances of a yellow are 1 in 20 successes.
Armors Armors worth making are the l35, l37, l39, l41, l43, l45, l47, l50, l55 tiers.
l35, l37: Melee: Jemz Riar + Greaf Range/Force: Ward Weef + Greaf
l39, l41, l43, l45 Melee: Jim + Greaf Range/Force: Lake + Greaf l47 Melee/Range/Force: Gli + Rian
l50, l55 Melee/Range/Force: Beam + Rian
Pants: Blue metals Helms: Red metals Uppers: Yellow metals Gloves: Green metals Boots: Black metals
So: a l43 force Gloves requires: Lake + Greaf + Green metals a l35 melee Boots requires: Jemz Riar + Greaf + Black metals a l47 ranger Set requires: Gli + Rian + All colours metals
Chances of success are up to 1 in 2 attempts. Chances of a yellow are 1 in 20 successes.
Ammo Ammo can be crafted in size 100 or 500 clips. basic 100s can be bought anywhere on novus. basic 500s can be bought on ether.
advanced ammo (the good stuff) is generally too expensive to consider crafting. If you're a ranger class, you should gather your mats and pm a crafter directly.
UPDATE: I say Blue metals, and Black metals, here's a carification on what I mean. Blue metals: Fetalium (blue1), Cotalrio (blue2), Baytalrous (blue3), Crotalian (blue4) Red metals: Lutalium (red1), Lotalrio (red2), Niotalrous (red3), Motalian (red4) Yellow metals: Ostalium (yellow1), Iritalrio (yellow2), Teitalrous (yellow3), Tutalian (yellow4) Green metals: Haitalium (green1), Metalrio (green2), Dutalrous (green3), Setalian (green4) Black metals: Firstalium (black1), Utalrio (black2), Protalrous (black3), Newtalian (black4)
Thier real names are a pain, so i'll refer to them as red1, blue4, yellow3, etc. There's a pattern to the naming that's evident when you see them all lined up.
Weapons l1 - l7 require only ore1. (and whatever colour depends on whatever type of weapon as stated earlier) l10-l28 require ore1 and ore2. l30-40 require ore1, ore2 and ore3. l45+ require ore1, ore2, ore3 and ore4.
Armors only ever require ore1 and ore3. (Why? no reason >.>)
But, since you'll probly obtain them all at once, 'metals' is a suitable collective naming.

| Anyway, yes, I completely forgot. The point of this was:
If you want stuff crafted, place an order here, short and snappy
like:
Retasha: l41 force set
or
Carolan: l41 range boots, gloves, upper
White armors, i can do free. they'll get mailed to you later Intense armors requires an insane amount of mats, the NPC seller is cheaper.
UPDATE: After trying my hand at it a bit more, it's not all that unreasonable. But it still is far more troublesome, and far less reliable. If you enjoy farming mats, and mining ore, go crafting instead of NPC. If you're a rich person who farms disena best, the NPC is easier than crafting.
Weapons are broadly too random to craft purple, yellows specifically. If you want to try, come to me with bag fulls of mats.

| lvl 43 Force helmet and boots I've decided not to bother anyone with int orders until I'm 45-47, or I'll just buy them from AH. If you need any mats, let me know. I have a crapload of yellow ore atm, if you, or any other specs need. DOZ EDIT: (Done, and delivered) | |

| I'm going to go ahead and request int 47 force set, with white shoes for when I get all the mats, I won't have it all for a while. :3 I'm already saving all my metals/gli/rian..any idea how many stacks would be enough? XD and is anything else better to be white than int besides shoes? ^^ | |

Intense47 sets is what everyone should be aiming at. Intense50 too for mages (rangers and melee will get enough drops from pbs, hehe) Let me give you an estimate on how much it'll cost The amounts are the same for melee/range/force (Gli/Rian/ore1/ore3) Helm: 5/5/22/8 Chest: 5/6/25/9 Glove: 4/5/19/7 Pant: 5/6/24/8 Boot: 4/5/18/6 Avg: 4.6/5.4/21.6/7.6 (mats consumed per attempt) l47 success rate is like 33%, and chance of Intense is bout 5%(given a success). So we need 3 tries to get a success, and 20 successes to get an Intense. So we need 60 tries. 60*Avg: 276/324/1296/456 So per piece of Intensel47 armor would be: 3 stacks of Gli 4 stacks of Rian 13 stacks of ore1 5 stacks of ore3That should be the average. You may need more, or you may need less. UPDATE: what does this all mean?Going by vendor price, which is quite fair since these mats get vendored all the time 3 stacks of Gli =====> 3*500k = 1.5mil 4 stacks of Rian =====> 4*400k = 1.6mil 13 stacks of ore1 =====> 13*44 gold = 13*44*2000 = 13*88k = 1.144mil 5 stacks of ore3 =====> 5*135 gold = 1.35mil = 5.6mil Looks like it's definately cheaper. NPC price is avg 23mil for guaranteed 7 slot Int. UPDATE: ewwww, its harder than 33% just to make a white. Needs more research OK, let's say it's twice as hard as the initial estimate. Bring me about: 6 stacks of Gli 7 stacks of Rian 26 stacks of ore1 10 stacks of ore3for 1 piece of Intense 47 armor

| It's not that much ore. 6 hrs of afk mining after a chip war win gets you 30 stacks of unprocessed ore. which gives about 40 stacks of ore1, 14 of ore2, 14 of ore3 and 14 of ore4. in addition to all the gem/talics.. | |

I finally figured out what you're trying to say. Yes, while trying to craft Intense gear, you get a ton of whites along the way. These whites are returned to you. Or vendored and the money sent back to you. You can recoup maybe 500k.

| Doz can you plz craft me a lvl 40 1 handed throwing weapon? If there's no lvl 40, then a lvl 35 one should be a good enough substitute.
You don't have to mail it to me if you want to save 5 gold, i'll prolly be on most of the day.
DOZ EDIT: (Green says she gave you her spare one so, order canceled)
